Week #5 in Davis, which means I get to go home soon. Nothing much has been going on, except for the Personal Finance class I decided to switch to P/NP? Well, turns out I got an 82 while the highest grade was an 84. Considering I started reading 7 of the 9 chapters 3.5 hours before the exam, and was too cheap to buy the BA-35 financial calculator (I had to memorize the formulas), it leaves me wondering what the rest of the class was on. Incidentally, I just found out my professor, Stanford grad that he is, gets paid $125-200/hr for tax consulting stuff. Wow.
On to the next topic, not exactly looking forward to coming back to Davis for the next summer session, but as I don't have anything to do in San Jose either, I think I'll just tough it out. Only 6 weeks after all, except there goes my whole summer.
I will eventually get a another credit card so that I can go shop on Amazon, there's quite a pile-up of books I'm looking to buy, and I am desperately in need of a new pair of jeans.
Now off to start my hw that's due tomorrow.
